Joining us

Thanks for thinking of joining the club. There are two things to do to join us

  1. Purchase BCA (British Caving Association) membership
  2. Purchase WSG membership

Once both have been done do let the membership sectary know your BCA number and we'll add you to our club on the BCA system and the relevant emails / groups.

Purchase BCA membership

A BCA membership is required for all WSG members.

  1. Visit https://britishcaving.justgo.com/ and click "Sign up" under the new member section.
  2. Once signed up click "Membership" and add the BCA Membership to your basket. You can choose between a caving member, non caving member or student membership.
  3. If you're a new member there will be a automatic pro rata discount in the basket to account for however far we are into the year.
  4. Pay and that's it you're insured. Make a note of your BCA number.

NOTE: If you are having any trouble with this do contact the membership secretary to assist.

Purchase WSG Membership

Once you have your BCA membership number you can purchase WSG membership.

  2. See ways to pay here. See fee table below for the amount to pay

WSG Membership Fees

Joint (two people living together) £25 each
Reduced rate (student / benefits / non-working) £15
Life and Honorary members FREE

If you are a new member then this amount is pro rata. e.g. if we're in Q2 then you only pay £22.50, Q3 £15, Q4 £7.50
